This novel is a story of a young girl that is suffering of leukemia named Kate. Kate is very sick and is coming close to the end of her life so her mom decides to go to a lab and create a child that is genetically capable of helping Kate become healthier and get rid of the leukemia. The child that she creates is soon named Anna. Anna soon is used to bring Kate back to health and in the future gives to Kate her whole life. After being used all of those years, Anna decides she doesn't want to be used any longer and Kate gives up on living and tells Anna to go to court so she cant stop giving to her. In the end a great tragedy occurs but a great gift for one sister.
The author has a strong voice and you can tell she has a great feeling for the story. This novel is a great one that would make anyone tear up and that I believe has a very interesting but twisted ending.
